Hello!

We are Matthew and Pamela...the founders of Babes 'N Brushes!

We've set out to put our greatest skills, ambitions, hopes and beliefs in to a wonderful company that represents and exemplifies the strength and determination of women everywhere. Our experiences throughout our lives have motivated us to help make a difference in an industry where women are underrepresented and to use our success with Babes 'N Brushes to help bring attention to the fight against breast cancer, which affects thousands of women and their families every year. With these goals in mind, we hope to provide an excellent, high-quality service to our clients, a great workplace for our painters and a positive contribution to our community.

Matthew Bender: Company President

I started at a young age in the industry and I guess you could say I have been working with paint, design and remodeling most of my adult life. Some of my work has been seen on HGTV and the Food Network. I am a certified designer and I have received training from the Master Painters Institute.

After September 11, 2001 I joined the United States Army and served 18 months in the Afghanistan and Iraq conflict.s. After I returned in 2004, I followed my passion and started back in the painting and design industry.

I have since operated two of Chicagoland's largest residential painting companies, and the concept of 'Babes 'N Brushes' was born from my creative minds and desire to do something a little different that can make a big impact. I am committed to providing the BEST training in the industry for our painters and providing the HIGHEST quality craftsmanship to our clients at a budget friendly price.

I am very excited to show you what we can do!!

Pamela Bender: Director of Operations

A little about me:

As a girl who was born and raised on a farm in central Illinois, I have always loved hands-on work and spent most of my childhood learning how to do anything and everything I could. I guess I get that from my mother, who actually spent a lot of her time helping dad out in the field, driving a tractor herself with me right there with her. I always admired her ambition and ability to do so many things so well....even if it was "a man's job."

My mom was diagnosed with cancer for the first time when she was 30 years old. She fought and defeated gall bladder, ovarian and uterine cancers over several years, and in 2004 was diagnosed with one that finally took her life on April 15, 2011.....breast cancer. I have spent many years participating in American Cancer Society events/fundraisers with my mom, and now that that horrible disease took her, I am more determined than ever to do what I can to help prevent others from going through the same thing.

I found my niche and love for painting and interior design when I met Matthew. Having gained several years in customer service and management experience up until that point, I eagerly got involved in the business with him, and together we are taking on a new concept within the industry and introducing Babes 'N Brushes!

Our Babes 'N Brushes team is dedicated to making a difference through community involvement and charitable contributions to breast cancer research and prevention.

Let's get to it!!
